WHAT IS INTIMACY?
Many people wrongly thought intimacy means having sexual relationship with another person, but this is half-truth. Intimacy is more than sex.

INTIMACY is the deep, personal, and confidential (secret/private) relationship between two people.

INTIMACY is mostly unvoiced, unspoken, undeclared, and undisclosed relationship between two people.

INTIMACY is derived from a Latin word “INTIMUS” which means “INNERMOST“. The Latin word “INTIMUS” later grew over time into “INTIMARE” which means “MAKE KNOWN“, or “REVEAL“, or “REVELATION“

All these definitions of intimacy showed that it is more than sex. It is possible to have sex with a person without intimacy with that person. Hotels and Brothels are filled with prostitutes who sleep with complete strangers for money, and without any intimacy with those strangers.

Intimacy is all about DEEP KNOWLEDGE and DEEP REVELATION. KNOWLEDGE IS POWER, SO, INTIMACY IS DEEP KNOWLEDGE, that means INTIMACY IS DEEP POWER 💪 💪 💪. Many believers serve God, love God, obey God, but are not intimate with Him.

Spiritual intimacy with God cannot be obtained in church or in a congregation. THREE IS A CROWD IN INTIMACY. THE ONLY EXCEPTION IS THE HOLY TRINITY! INTIMACY IS EXCLUSIVE BETWEEN YOU AND GOD. YOUR PASTOR IS AN OUTSIDER IN DIVINE INTIMACY BETWEEN YOU AND YAHWEH.

There are innumerable examples of divine intimacy in many passages of the Bible.

Let’s start from the book of Beginning – GENESIS CHAPTER ONE, THE BOOK OF CREATION. When God created everything. He used the word: “LET THERE BE LIGHT… ” (verse 3), “LET THERE BE A FIRMAMENT…” (verse 6), “LET THE WATERS …” (verse 9), “LET THE DRY LAND APPEAR …” (verse 9), “LET THE EARTH BRING FORTH GRASS…” (verse 11), “LET THERE BE LIGHTS IN THE FIRMAMENT …” (verse 14), “LET THEM BE FOR SIGNS…” (verse 14), “LET THEM BE FOR LIGHTS…” (verse 15), “LET THE WATERS BRING FORTH ABUNDANTLY …” (verse 20), “…LET FOWL MULTIPLY IN THE EARTH… ” (verse 22), “LET THE EARTH BRING FORTH THE LIVING CREATURE…” (verse 24), BUT WHEN IT CAME TO THE CREATION OF MAN, GOD CHANGED GEAR, HE SAID: “LET US MAKE MAN IN OUR IMAGE, AFTER OUR LIKENESS… ” (verse 26)

The word “LET US” was born out of intimacy of the Holy Trinity. God never used the collective word “LET US” when He created all things, but when He got to creation of man, He used the word “LET US“. That means YOU’RE A PRODUCT of DIVINE INTIMACY of the HOLY TRINITY!

It is insane foolishness and crass ignorance to say you’re lonely when you’re a product and creation of “LET US” intimacy of divinity!

When you’re lonely, it means you’re vulnerable and far away from God’s Presence! PSALM 16:11 (NLT): You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever

The Abiding PRESENCE of God in the life of the believer carries joy unspeakable full of pleasures. There’s no depression or sorrow in your life when you carry the abiding presence of the Holy Trinity. Loneliness is a product of ALIENATION and ESTRANGEMENT from God. As a believer, if you’re lonely, then something must be wrong with you.

Rabboni made three statements that utterly destroyed loneliness in John chapter 14

in John 14:18 “I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.“

In John 14:23 “Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.”

In John 14:26, He said again: “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”

Those three statements above 👆 showed that loneliness is a product of discomfort and deprivation, but God promised through His only begotten Son that you will never be lonely as a believer because He will always abide INSIDE YOU.

That means loneliness is an external thing. Loneliness is a craving of your flesh. God is not flesh and blood, God is a Spirit. That means spiritual loneliness is an impossibility for you as a believer.

Rabboni said when He was departing, that the Father would send the Holy Spirit in His name as our Comforter, and the Holy Spirit will teach us all things. All things include teachings on how to terminate loneliness, poverty, discomfort, famine, lack, and wants.

The key 🗝 to divine intimacy is love for God. The door of Kingdom intimacy will never open unless with the key 🗝 of agape love. That’s why Rabboni said: “… If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him… ” (John 14:23). That means the Father, and the Son will come and join the Holy Ghost and the three of them will abide inside you. How can a believer be lonely when the Holy Trinity abide inside you? That’s an impossibility!

PROVERBS 25:2-3 (KJV): “It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter. The heaven for height, and the earth for depth, and the heart of kings is unsearchable.“

God’s Glory is hidden and concealed, and He confers honor of royalty 👑 upon any Kingdom Seeker that successfully searches it out.

INTIMACY is a secret knowledge. Your pastor has no business in divine intimacy between you and God. Your spouse has no business in divine intimacy between you and God. Your siblings, parents, and bestie have no business in divine intimacy between you and God.

The reason why God withholds knowledge of certain secrets from you is because, He knew you have no capacity to walk in that intimacy. Yes, intimacy is a walk with God! You will blab with your mouth to brag with such secrets, so He kept it from you. That’s why you felt dry and empty, and fatigued, and burnt out. The secrets of God are like refreshing tonic that ENERGIZES 💥💥💥 our lives like electric voltage ⚡ ⚡ ⚡ .

God has personal secrets concerning your life. God is a custodian of secrets, He can’t have intimacy with you if you can’t keep His secrets.

DEUTERONOMY 29:29: “The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law“

PSALM 25:14: “The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.”

You cannot prosper in life without the secrets of God.

Let the truth be told, many of us suffer spiritual fatigue and burnout because of religiosity. We became hyperactive in all religious matters of the church. We WORKED for God, but we didn’t WALK with Him. We served Him actively and visibly in the church and ministry, but we’re not known intimately by Him.

Loneliness means deprivation, lack, and wants. That means poverty and discomforts. Hunger is a form of loneliness. If you’re hungry and your belly is starved of food that’s a form of loneliness too. If you crave the romantic touch of a man or woman, that’s loneliness too. If you lack fellowship, companionship, and friendship of a man or woman, that’s loneliness too. But all of these are EXTERNAL.

It’s only when you don’t have the Holy Trinity abiding inside you, that’s when you suffer the double tragedy of internal and external loneliness. If you have the Comforter abiding inside you, then you can activate Him to terminate any external loneliness you might be suffering from.

Listen 👂 👂 to me people of God. If God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, abide INSIDE YOU, You can NEVER suffer loneliness because He will Teach you how to escape loneliness of the flesh. 1 JOHN 4:4 – “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world“. The POWER 💪 💪 💪 and PRESENCE of God inside you can terminate external loneliness, if you activate that power.

You can’t have fulfilment inside you, and suffer famine outside! The power 💪 💪 💪 of the Comforter that filled your inside is more than capable to provide every other comforts of life outside you. It’s because you have not ACTIVATED that POWER 💪 💪 💪, that’s why you’re suffering deprivation of loneliness.

There is a POWER 💪 💪 💪 that setteth the lonely in families (Psalm 68:6). That power is within you. All you need is to violently activate it! (New Living Translation) “God places the lonely in families; he sets the prisoners free and gives them joy. But he makes the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.“
