EMPTY BUT FULL

18579. MATTHEW 5:3-12 (KJV):
3. Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

4. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

5. Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

6. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

7. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

8. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

9. Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

10. Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

11. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

18580. THE MYSTERY OF EMPTINESS

ONE OF THE BEST WAYS OF STARTING A NEW YEAR IS TO START EMPTY.

EVERY NEW YEAR IS A BLANK CHEQUE. IT IS WHAT YOU FILL IT WITH THAT IT WILL PRODUCE FOR YOU.

IF YOU DON’T BEGIN EMPTY, HOW WILL GOD FILL IT WITH ANYTHING?

TAKE FOR EXAMPLE THE DIVINE INSTRUCTIONS TO PRAY IN THE SPIRIT FOR ONE HOUR EVERY DAY AT THE MIDNIGHT SEASON WHEN WE AWAKE. YOU CAN’T PRAY EFFECTIVELY IN THE SPIRIT WHEN YOUR MIND IS FILLED WITH PROBLEMS BOMBARDING AND BESIEGING YOUR LIFE.

THE FIRST THING TO DO IS TO ASK THE HOLY SPIRIT TO EMPTY YOUR MIND OF EVERY THOUGHT EATING YOU UP AND SET YOU FREE FROM THE SHACKLES OF AND OBSTACLES PLANTED ON YOUR PATH BY THESE PROBLEMS. ASK HIM TO EMPTY YOU SO YOU CAN BE FILLED WITH THE POWER OF DIVINE UTTERANCE. ASK HIM TO REMOVE EVERY STUMBLING BLOCK AND SMOOTHEN ALL ROUGHNESS ON YOUR PATH.

ISAIAH 40:4 “Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low; and the crooked places shall be made level, and the rough places smooth”

ISAIAH 42:16 “And I will bring the blind by a way that they know not; in paths that they know not will I lead them; I will make darkness light before them, and crooked places straight. These things will I do, and I will not forsake them.”

ISAIAH 45:2 “I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron”

LUKE 3:5 “Every gorge shall be filled up, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low, and the crooked places shall become a straight path, and the rough places smooth ways”
