35TH TAKEOVER TESTIMONY OF JANUARY: HOW I SUBJECTED MY FLESH TO OBEY MY SPIRIT DURING THE FAST

Daughter from South Africa : “Simple prayers like reminding your flesh “Man shall not live on bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord” helps. Everything hears even your flesh.”

“Personally l use it and it always works and suddenly you feel energised. There was a time whereby each time l started fasting suddenly my throat got sore and l would be very sick and even get bed ridden and the fast stops on day 2 or 3. It happened 3 times in a row each time l attempted fast until l concluded that my body was no longer fit for fast. I even told myself maybe due to age etc. It took God’s grace to reveal to me that, this was an attack and man shall not leave on bread alone.”

“I dragged my flesh to the altar and told my flesh ‘you will not dominate and rule me but you shall bow to the word of God. If l decide to fast, you flesh you shall cooperate. I also rebuke my Spirit man that, WAKE UP FROM YOUR SLUMBER AND DOMINATE THE FLESH NOT THE FLESH DOMINATING YOU.”

“After that crazy prayer l went in a 14 day fasting whereby first 3 were Esther dry fast, and the rest were juice no food. Believe you me the fast was successful and each time the throat wanted to start, l would say “oh you flesh remember you are defeated and you shall not dominate me and you are not sick” from my knowledge and indeed l never got that cycle of sickness again till now.”

“I can do any fast anytime and tell my Spirit to take it’s dominant position and also command flesh to cooperate. My fasting lifestyle is normal again and l thank God. But on Mon of this fast l felt like l will faint coz am not taking anything l break in the evening, then l went to the washroom and in anger I prayed that “these games from you flesh shall not be tolerated hence pack your bags and go, surely you shall not die.” All of a sudden my strength came back and everything was normal. I learnt that the Trinity mechanism of man hears, hence l speak to it and it works, for me. I hope it encourages you. Happy fasting”
