“Two months ago, husband and I, along with baby went to Barbados to get our American Visa. About half an hour before the interview, I went to the toilet and thought that I just bruised a hemorrhoid I developed during pregnancy. But when I wiped again I saw bright red blood that immediately soaked the toilet paper. Then things got out of hands very quickly. Blood was just gushing down all over the bathroom floor. My husband left to go to a nearby gas station to pick up some pads just so that I can get some help. When he left all hell broke loose. I sat on the toilet seat and just listened to the blood running down into the toilet.”

“Around that time, I became very weak and was losing my voice. I soaked two huge toilet paper completely. When I got up from the toilet I couldn’t recognize anything in there….just a sea of red. I honestly thought that I was going to surely die, after all blood is life and if am losing so much blood am definitely losing my life.”
