ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: JOEL 2:23-27
MESSAGE TOPIC: UNDERSTANDING SUPERNATURAL RESTORATION (1)
SERVICE OBJECTIVE:
1. Understanding what supernatural restoration is all about
2. Understanding the keys to supernatural restoration
THINGS TO NOTE:
1. The Scriptures make it clear that we serve a God Who is a Supernatural Restorer
EXAMPLES OF THE RESTORATION POWER OF GOD:
1. Abraham’s wife was restored to him from Abimelech (Gen. 20:1-7, 14)
2. The wine was restored at the wedding of Cana of Galilee (John 2:1-11)
– It doesn’t matter what is missing, as long as Jehovah is not missing, there is nothing to fear!
THINGS TO NOTE:
2. The Scriptures provide us with promises of Supernatural restoration (Joel 2:23-27)
-The thief that comes to steal, kill and destroy is ‘findable’ and if he is found, he must restore seven-fold what he stole! (Prov. 6:30-31; John 10:10)
TYPES OF RESTORATION:
1. Restoration of years (Joel 2:23-27)
2. Restoration of what was stolen (Prov. 6:30-31; John 10:10)
3. Restoration of health (Jer. 30:17)
WHAT IS RESTORATION?
1. Restoration is the recovery of that which is lost or stolen (1Sam. 10:1-2)
2. Restoration is the replenishing of that which got finished or exhausted (John 2:7-10)
3. Restoration is the renovation, refurbishment or reconstruction of that which is dilapidated or destroyed (Jer. 31:3-4)
KEYS TO SUPERNATURAL RESTORATION:
1. Discovery (1Sam. 9:3)
– It is discovery that precedes recovery; where nothing is discovered, nothing can be recovered
2. Decision
-Until there is a decision, there can be no restoration
-What you want is more important than what you need
3. Revelation (Luke 15:8)
-Light is key to the discovery of that which is lost
3a. Light refers to knowing what God promised
3b. Light refers to knowing what is yours
3c. Light refers to knowing what to do
-Overnight, as you sleep, what is yours will be revealed to you
#PRAYER
1. Father, in the Name of Jesus, I believe You, the God of Supernatural restoration; show me what is lost, missing or damaged in my life, because I have decided that what is lost must be found; show me what to do to get what is mine in Jesus’ Name
COMMUNION FOCUS (Gen. 14:16-18):
– Communion of restoration – Anything that has been taken shall be returned to us; Restoration of what is lost, missing or finished; refurbishment of what is damaged or destroyed is released now
– Communion of restoration – restoration of passion, fire, favour, health, and intimacy with God
PROPHETIC DECLARATION:
God is winning! The Word of God is winning! The people of God are winning!
– Whatever a man, woman, witch or institution took from you, this night, Jehovah shall visit them and under pressure they shall lose their peace and sleep until what was taken from you is restored!
– Anything in your life that seems to want to cause you embarrassment, by the presence of the Master, receive restoration!
