Satan tries in so many ways to discourage the children of God. It doesn’t matter what Satan might have stolen from you, you can recover it. Weeping is not the answer to your problems. In fact, unless you dry up your tears, you will not be able to see what God wants you to see because your vision will be blurred. Remember the story of Job? Don’t give up on God because He hasn’t given up on you. As with Job, your knowledge of God will help you to come out on the winning side.

In life, oftentimes, the people you hope to draw support and help from are often those who end up becoming your greatest source of great discouragement. In 1Samuel 30:4-6, after David he wept over his losses, he encouraged himself in the Lord. He remembered God and His unlimited ability to do all things even after he had lost all hope in his own ability. You will see God’s goodness soon.

In the time of challenges, focus only on God so that you can receive strength.
