DAY 25: Good Friday Prayers: Servanthood and Humility: Pathway To Greatness!

Matthew 20:25-28 “And Jesus having summoned them, said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them, and the great ones exercise authority over them. Thus will it not be among you. But whoever wishes to become great among you, he will be your servant; and whoever wishes to be first among you, he will be your slave— even as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”

This is one mysterious secret I have humbly learnt over the years. About 20 years ago when I decided to marry, the Holy Spirit gently led me (I call it TESTED ME) to join a humble service group in church. The least of groups in church then was the Sanctuary Keepers Group. Inside that group, there are many units like the cleaners of chairs, sweepers, etc, the most abased of the units are the toilet cleaners. That’s where I was led to belong and I did it with zeal and a joyful heart for several years. I was leader of District House Bible fellowship with many house fellowship units under me. People even call me a pastor, though I as a deacon then. But I heard God and knew He wants my total humility, so, I went to join the Toilet Cleaning unit. That service was my ladder to mysterious marital and financial promotions. May God teach you the secrets of humility in service to pave way for your destiny greatness this year in Jesus name. Amen.

PRAYER POINTS

1. Oh My master and my God, help me by giving unto me Thy humble Spirit to pave way for my greatness this year in the name of Jesus.
2. Every gentile power exercising rulership over my destiny, I OVERTHROW you by the power in the blood of Jesus.
3. Every authority of darkness enslaving my destiny and family, your time is up: DIE in disgrace! in the name of Jesus.
4. My Father, teach me the secrets of Kingdom service, teach my heart to humbly learn from Your WORD at Your Feet in Jesus name.
5. My Father, show me how to convert my failures to astonishing SUCCESS in the name of Jesus.
6. Every power slave-masters grinding my destiny into stagnation, Be Disgraced and be uprooted in Jesus name.
7. Power to serve humanity to the glory of God, Fall upon me now by fire! in Jesus name.
