[adsense]The name of JESUS is higher than any other name. Sing the song if you know it. In case you dont know it, here are the wordings: “His name is higher, than any other name; His name is Jesus, His name is Lord.” Sing it over and over again, in the praise of Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit wants us to learn more about the name of Jesus, not just about His birth.
Matthew1:21-And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shall call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Look at the word save. Save means to deliver, protect, heal, preserve, do well and make whole. So when we talk of salvation, it goes beyond forgiveness of sins. Salvation also includes protection, healing, preservation, doing well and being made whole. If you accept Jesus and confess Him as Lord and Saviour, you are under a heavy cover, and you become the untouchable.
His Name Is A Strong Tower: Proverbs18:10 (NKJV) The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runs into it, and is safe. A strong tower is like a very big castle, huge, strong and tall. Judges9:51 describes how everyone in the city ran into a strong tower and they were shut in, while the enemies were shut out. In time of trouble, you do not need to panic like those in the world do, just call on the name of the Lord. When you are in a tower, not only are you protected, you also have the opportunity of seeing the enemies afar off. This is why God gives His children, the revelation of what the enemy is about to do. When you see such, you quickly pray against their calendar and ask God to bring it to nought. Let me share this testimony with you: Sometimes, I sensed that some people, about three of them entered my bedroom. It was around 2.45 am. I was half asleep. When I saw this, I thought, what will I do for these wicked people? I released the name of Jesus against them and they scattered out. I woke up fully and released some words against them, told them to go and perform their intents on themselves. When in danger, call on the name of Jesus. Glory to God.
His Name Can Destroy: Jesus, the Lamb of God is also the Lion of the tribe of Judah. Psalm118:10-12 tells us, “All nations compass me about, but, in the name of the LORD, will I destroy them. This phrase is repeated in the 3 verses. Can you call on the name of the Lord, and ask Him to heal you, protect you, and destroy every stranger from your spirit, soul and body, and environment.
His Name Is The Only Name That Can Save: There is no name which can forgive your sins, protect you, heal you, provide for you, preserve you and make you whole like the name of Jesus. Only Jesus has the combination of such power and it is available to those who believe His name and accept Him.
Acts4:12-Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. This verse is so clear that there is no other name which can save you like the name of Jesus. God the Father never gave such power to anyone except JESUS.
Philippians2:9-11 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him and given him a name which is above every name; vs10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; vs11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father. The name of Jesus is above all other names. So why should you fear them when you have the name of Jesus. Disregard all the names you fear so much; witches and wizards are to be fearing you, because you carry the name of Jesus. He lives inside you. He is far above them, seated in heaven, and you are seated with Him. Read Ephesians1:20-23. Fear them not again. If you are born again, they are far below you.
Are You Saved? You may want to accept Jesus Christ afresh into your life or you just want to rededicate your life to God again. Until you are saved, you are not free from the harassment of the principalities and powers, and might and dominions.
Here’s how to be saved. Believe Jesus in your heart and confess Him as Lord and Saviour with your mouth.
Romans10:9-That if thou shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God raised him up from the dead, you shall be saved. vs 11 tells us that when you believe on Him you shall not be ashamed. All your shame will turn to glory. All your prayers shall be answered and you will be living a new life in Christ Jesus. Vs13 tells us again that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Call on the name of Jesus first before you call on any other name, in times of challenges. He will answer you.
Glory to God. Jesus is Lord!
