What Next After Fasting?

Moses and Jesus went on fasting, forty days, day and night, for vital matters that affected and is still affecting mankind. You too have been fasting and praying, seeking the face of God for one thing or the other and believing God to lift up your head above your enemies. Now that the fast is over, and you are expecting to see the glory of God, certain things must be in place. Do not expect that the devil will not come around you again. Jesus, a green tree, our vine was tempted after His fasting; who are we, dry trees and branches  not to be tempted? Moses a man who collected tables of stones with the handwriting of God, became angry and spoilt what he laboured for 40days and nights, dont expect to be spared of the temptations of the devil.

Wait Patiently For Your Miracles: There is no prayer said by the upright and righteous man that is not answered. In fact, God delights in your prayers and heard them, He will also do them. Proverbs13:8, 25 tell us this truth.  God is not a magician, He does His things with due process, though He can allow you to jump queue. He made Joseph did, but consider what he went through, so wait. Your waiting is for a purpose. Hebrews6:12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience, inherit the promises. Your faith must stand firm, do not stagger at the promises of God.

Be Praising God: This is the time to be praising God. Make God your song, make Him your praise, make Him your glory. Be boasting of God. He delights so much in these things, Jeremiah9:24. Be confident that He cannot fail you. Let Him know that His name is on you. Remind Him how He said He will never leave you nor forsake you, Hebrews13:5. I know that God has power to do anything, and He will do yours. In fact, your case is very small. Just be praising Him and be giving Him all the glory and praises.

Beware of The Tempter: After Fasting and praying for your husband, the devil brings you a married man for a husband. The Bible talks of  “your own husband“. A married man cannot be “your own husband”. In fact, you should pray married men out of your life and if any comes your way, tell him to depart from you. Don’t let any man make you a spare tyre. Several temptations were given to Jesus by the tempter and Jesus gave him, “it is written”, Matthew4:1-11. Be releasing the word around you and always pull down every evil thoughts or word with “it is written” .

Be Very Sensitive: Among the values of fasting is to lift up the spirit above the flesh, and make man sensitive. The anger of Moses made him start the process of getting the law all over again. Your labour shall not be wasted.  The tempter can use anything against you; anger, lust, greed, pride, envy,  and many other things. Yours is to watch and be on your guard always. Crucify your flesh against anything that will open you up for the devil.

Continue Your Walk With God: Think more of the Word than of the world. Your goal is to please God and not man. So. Be Holy, and have the fruit of the Spirit, love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faithmeeekness and temperance, against which there is no law. Galatians5:22-23

Watch Your Heart: Your heart is the source of all tempations. So guard it and keep it. Proverbs4:23 Keep thy heart with all dilligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

Prayer Points: You are to conquer yourself first, then conquering the devil becomes easy.

1. My spirit, soul and body, you belong to God, reject every satanic suggestions and instructions, in the name of Jesus.

2. My conscience, be purged afresh with the Blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.

3. Fire of God of Elijah, burn away every chaff in me, purify me to serve the living God, in the name of Jesus.
