Ascending October: Double Grace To Complete Cycle

Bible Reading: Psalm 24:1-10

“The earth is the LORD’S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods. Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory”.
OCTOBER
The 10th month is here. Figure 10 represents a Complete cycle. If five (5) is the number of Grace, there is a double grace located in this month.
If you divide this year into four, this month marks the beginning of the 4th quarter, that is the last lap. In Sports, outcome of relay races are determined
by those who carry the baton in the first and last laps. Whatever weaknesses and errors made in the midst of the race can always be corrected or
Compensated by the last lap race.

Who shall ascend into the hill called October? Who shall stand and not fall in October? He that has the insight to win the race of the last quarter.

  1. LIFE IS A RACE! We are all on earth, running a race to obtain the incorruptible crown. The Preacher tells us that the race is not to the swift, Ecclesiates9:11.Paul tells us in Hebrews12:1-2 that the race set before us must be run with patience, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith who for the joy…endured the cross, dispising the shame… Today, Jesus is seated on the right hand of God. The race of life must be run with a purpose, and with discipline. 1Corinthians 9:24-27. Be reading about the atheletes, they focus on their career so much that they have little or no time for any other thing. Christians should be focused on God 24 hours, and when God fills you, there will be no emptiness for the devil to fill. Dont wait until challenges come before you pray or read the Word. The message above tells us that we are in the last lap of the race for this year, endure all the pains of Fasting and Praying so that you can get the gains and by
December, we shall all be full of laughter. Ask God for double mercy, help and favour as you go on in this life race. Glory to God. Jesus is Lord!
