What a sweet divine interruption! Today is DAY 7 of our 21-DAYS midnights BATTLE OF THE GATE, and just a few days ago, I said the rage of the earth that swallowed and buried over 200,000 victims in Haiti is a signal and clarion call to battle for praying Christians. The good news is that Dr. Daniel Olukoya at this morning (SUNDAY SERVICE) preached on the Mystery of Midnight prayers, giving out midnight ‘home work’ for members to carry out tonight at 12 midnight on the dot. There is a 21-Prophetic prayer points which were distributed to all for the ‘home work’ at midnight tonight.
The man of God fired three prayer arrows as he mounted the pulpit thus:
- Association of wickedness gathered against my destiny, SCATTER BY FIRE!!! in the name of Jesus.
- My breakthrough is not negotiable, I move forward by fire!!! in the name of Jesus.
- The power that destroyed Goliath! The power that promoted Joseph!! Change my story by Fire!!! in the name of Jesus.
He took the congregation on a scriptural tour, (indeed a scriptural rainfall) of many persuasive biblical references about the midnight prayers. From:
Psalm 119:62: “At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee because of thy righteous judgments.”
Acts 16:25: “And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.” You can provoke God with fearful praises at midnight like David and Paul. It is a time of release from every spiritual prison, when you utilize the mystery of midnight prayers, it would initiate the earthquake of deliverance that would set you free.
Job 4:20: “They are destroyed from morning to evening: they perish for ever without any regarding it.” The stronghold of the mighty can be destroyed at midnight.
Exodus 11:4:“And Moses said, Thus saith the LORD, About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt:”
Exodus 12:29: “And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.”You can utilize the midnight hour to break the back bone of the enemy.
Judges 16:3: “And Samson lay till midnight, and arose at midnight, and took the doors of the gate of the city, and the two posts, and went away with them, bar and all, and put them upon his shoulders, and carried them up to the top of an hill that is before Hebron.”You can follow the example of Samson to uproot the gate of the enemy at midnight.
Ruth 3:8: “And it came to pass at midnight, that the man was afraid, and turned himself: and, behold, a woman lay at his feet.”If you want to speedily find your godly spouse, either wife or husband you can follow the example of Ruth by praying at midnight.
Matthew 25:6: “And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.”
Luke 11:5: “And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him, Friend, lend me three loaves;”Midnight hour is the time to Ask, Seek and Knock the doors. Your petition at this hour makes things begin to happen for you. That hour is a weak period for the children of the bond woman.
1 Kings 3:20: “And she arose at midnight, and took my son from beside me, while thine handmaid slept, and laid it in her bosom, and laid her dead child in my bosom”The midnight hour is thde best time to catch the thief that came to steal. kill and destroy, while men slept.
2 Kings 6:13-14: “And he said, Go and spy where he is, that I may send and fetch him. And it was told him, saying, Behold, he is in Dothan. Therefore sent he thither horses, and chariots, and a great host: and they came by night, and compassed the city about.”The midnight hour is their own working hours.
The midnight talks of darkness; absence of light and presence of blindness. It is for rest and unsuitable for labour. It is favourable to the purposes of wickedness, Wild beast seek they prey at night. Shephers watch over their sheep at night. The midnight is a period of severe calamities. Darkness has binding powers, it limits activities. It has separating powers. That is when all that is evil and unworthy of light is let loose.
Your best friend can harm you at night without your knowledge. Most witchcraft meetings meet at covens at night. Iniquities flourishes in the dark. The spirit of a sleeping man is weak and harmless at night. Dream manipulators, night caterers, recruitment agents of darkness, terrible spirits are all active and wrought havoc at night. There are plenty of midnight deliverance cases in the Bible, you don’t have to pray from 12 midnight to 3.00 a.m. Even if it is only for 15 minutes or 30 minutes, or 45 minutes, it is ok. Don’t underestimate the power of midnight battles, it can desolate the camp of the enemy and obtain uncommon testimonies for you. The word of God prayed at midnight is the greatest force in the universe.
Before Dr. Olukoya led us to prayers, he told of of a strange testimony of one child of darkness who made 26 million Naira from a contract in July but was left with only six thousand Naira by December. That was what drove him to the church desperately seeking solution. The man of God said the Lord instructed him not to pray for the fellow until he brings his voodoo magical powers to the church. The man laughed, and laughed and laughed until he fell from his chair. He told Dr. Olukoya that his juju will fill a trailer truck if he were to haul them to the church. He was then instructed to go and bring the most powerful among his juju voodoo. He went and came back with a bottle containing a cobra snake swimming in water. He told the man of God that anytime he wants to win a big contract he would just drink out of the cobra water from the bottle and anything he spoke to the person awarding the contract will be obeyed. That was in the days before his juju/voodoo power failed him.
- Any power using the night to steal from me, BE BURIED ALIVE!!! in the name of Jesus.
- Every night warfare that has prospered against me, DIE! in the name of Jesus.
- Powers of the night assigned to disgrace me, I BURY YOU NOW!!! in the name of Jesus.
- Every satanic activity against me in the night, be buried alive!!! in the name of Jesus.
- Powers of the night troubling my dream life, SCATTER!!! in the name of Jesus.
- Wicked mark put on my forehead in the night, be wiped off by the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.
- Every power blocking the way of my complete joy, SCATTER!!! in the name of Jesus.
- Every power that does not want to let me go, be disgraced, in the name of Jesus.
- Powers of the night troubling my habitation, DIE!!! in the name of Jesus.
- Every power searching for my face in demonic mirrors, your time is up! DIE!!! in the name of Jesus.
- Wickedness of the night assigned against my life, EXPIRE!!! in the name of Jesus.
- Tonight, my Father, provoke Your violent angels to fight for me, in the name of Jesus.
- Tonight, witchcraft bird flying against me, shall die!!! in the name of Jesus.
- Every enemy that came while I was sleeping, your time is up! DIE! in the name of Jesus.
- Pharaoh of my father’s house, sink in the red sea, in the name of Jesus.
- Anti-prosperity chains, my hand is not your candidate, BREAK!!!

It’s worthy of note to say that we’re all human – imperfect creature right from the fall of Adam. That not withstanding, Christ Jesus who has redeemed believers from the curse of the law also gave us the power to thread upon sapent and scopions and over all the powers of the enemy. Satan understands the power inherent in our prayers and has always weakness and slumber in our prayer lives.
However, what I observe God Almighty to have done with his servant, Dr. D. K. Olukoya in his do it yourself MFM ministry is to open the eyes of all who cares to liston that man still has power over the machinations of the enermy. This we achieve through mid-night prayers: by being the first to prophesy into our day, week, month or year.
But we all love sleep. Our bodies desire it while our spirits suffer. Then life’s journey becomes hard, because we merely fail to command our days. But let each us observe this spiritual instruction. Any mid-night prayers backed with the word of God works wonders and bring solutions to all our needs.
I have tried it and sure know what I am talking about. Your phone alarm can help. So also will short fasting before our much anticipated spiritual endeavour (in case of slumber during the ideal hour of spiritual warfare)
Dearest Saints of God, I stumbled upon this website and I believe that nothing just happens. I have issues in my life that I feel are going to be a thing of the past with your help in Jesus Name. I have a problem with:

Romario, Pride is the ministry of Satan. When you humble yourself, God will lift you up. God will only downgrade the proud. Always think highly of others than yourself and know that whatever you are today is by the grace of God. Without Jesus we can do nothing, John15:5 Always abide in God by reading His word and praying. As you get closer to God and do His word, you will be getting humble. Whatever good thing you see, attribute it to God as the doer. Never beat your chest as the doer of anything. Put on the garment of humility and you will see great things happening in your life. Read the Books of Proverbs and James, there are so many lessons on humility and against pride. Jesus is Lord!
Okari, Everyone who is a child of God face challenges. It is only the dead(both spiritually and physically )that do not face challenges. Learn to do warfare prayers from the 2 books mentioned in Blog33 above. always praise God at all times to invite His presence. God hears and answers prayers, no matter how faint they are. So keep praying to God, you have access to Him through Jesus Christ. God wants us to dialogue with Him and ask Him questions, do not keep quiet any more. Johana, Be anxious for nothing. Take your son to God in prayer. Remember John10:10 and declare everyday that your son shall not be killed nor destroyed, he will enjoy the abundant life of Jesus Christ. God gave him to you, God does not take back His gift., Romans 11:29. suicide is a spirit of worthlessness, of self condemnation, encourage him to confide in you. Rebuke that spirit, daily. Pray for his salvation, and give him a purpose for living. Assure him of your love and study the Word of God and pray with him, daily. You did not tell us his age, try to seperate him from any bad company. Also declare Psalm118:17 on him daily. (his name) shall not die but live…. Take him to your church for counselling. God will preserve him from all evil. Psalm121 and 2Timothy4:18. Jesus is Lord!

No matter how small you have, pay your tithe and give to someone in need. Tell your wife to be listening to Christian music. Be rebuking the spirit of depression . Toor, Debt is the spirit of spending the money you do not have, eating the food you do not have, wearing the clothes you cannot afford and ridding the car which is not your level, or living in a house you cannot afford. You have to decide not to go into debt again, no matter how pressed you are for that thing. Read Romans13:8, especially the first part of it, Owe no man anything but to love one another. One edition says, Let love be your only love. Refuse to buy things on credit.. Sellers want to sell on credit, but you must insist to wait until you have your money. Pray debt out of your life and declare it loudly. I, Toor will not owe man anything, except love. DO this everyday until it becomes part of you. Plan your money before spending it. Jesus is Lord!
